To recognize and appreciate patterns and compositions, whether manmade or natural, is not a choice but a necessity.

 

Everything changes with each different angle, position and light. The constriction of the frame simplifies and protects the photographer from the world outside it. 

This magic of photography never gets old. One version of a minuscule piece of time and space is captured and can be relived again and again. 

 

The fact that every photographer interprets exactly the same experience uniquely and that there never will be two identical original photographs is fascinating. 

 

The thirst for learning the craft is as great today as it was five decades ago. Having worked professionally as a photographer for 35 years has never quenched that thirst.
